The Filter has been an instrumental part of Hip Hop and R&B music for decades. Producers, who had little sampling time had to find ways to switch beats up from being too repetitive. With tweaks of their drum machines and samplers they discovered the art of filtering, shaving off the high-end frequencies and leaving only the low-end bass. (See – A Tribe Called Quest – The Low End Theory) Today it is back in full effect, but with a new form for a new generation. Make no mistake this techinque is nothing new and will never go away. On a quick note, a few years ago when I first started doing tutorials I contacted LabDummy.com (awesome site go ahead and check it out) to do some guest posts. FRUITY PARAMETRIC EQ 2 DOWNLOADWe loved using Fruity Parametric Eq 2, as its polished and intuitive interface made our to- do list management easier than other similar Fruity Parametric Eq 2 on the market. They agreed and I shot 6 for them, the most popular this one (A noob version). But for me being so new to the camera and tutorials and the spotlight, the criticism that was brought on in the comments in the video made me shy away from doing them. I laugh about it now but at the time it was the worst thing in the world lol SO anyway, when I made this site over again I wanted to start giving back to the producers. I thought this topic was still relevant because the filter is still being used today. Hope you enjoy. Step 1: Load Up Parametric EQ 2 In FL Studio in Mixer Channel Step 1: Load Up Parametric EQ 2 In FL Studio in Mixer Channel. This is how a Fruity Parametric EQ 2 looks with default settings. This is the easiest step in the process. Choose the mixer channel you want affected by the filter effect and place a Parametric EQ 2 on it. This could be on the Master bus, Instruments bus, Drums bus, individual channels. In the case of this beat I want the filter to occur on the drum bus. Step 2: Set Your Start Settings on Parametric EQ 2 Step 2: Set Your Start Settings on Parametric EQ 2. Notice Band 7 has a hard Steep 8 and even Q-width. Downloadbuku dasar dasar kimia organik fessenden. Once the Fruity Parametric EQ 2 has been loaded up on the mixer channel, you must change the default settings. First, go to Band 7 and choose a Low-pass filter from the menu. Download download buku metode penelitian sugiyono 2012 for FREE. Secondly, right underneath the Low-pass filter, left-click and drag all the way down to the last setting, which is Steep 8. Thirdly, go down to BW, which is the Q settings, and choose 50% for an even line to make the filter sound sharp and even. Wic reset keygen. Fourthly, and finally, choose your starting frequency. Use the Freq. Wheel above BW to choose where you want it to cut off at. I find anywhere between 400-500hz works best. Step 3: Create Automation Clip Step 3: Create Automation Clip. Right click on “Mute/Solo” green dot next to EQ. Then left click “Create Automation Clip”. Now it is time to make your automation clip. With your EQ settings to your liking, go right next to the Fruity Parametric EQ 2 to the “Mute/Solo” button (it’s that green dot that you see, green means its activated and on, grey means its turned off). Right-click the “Mute/Solo” button and a menu will appear, choose and left-click “Create Automation Clip”. Make sure that you have not selected a portion of your song because you want this automation clip to span the entire width of your track. Step 4: Set Automation Points Step 4: Set Automation Points. By default, the line will be all the way up. Left-click on start and end points, hold and drag down. When the Automation clip is dropped into your playlist you will see that it is fully activated (just like the green dot indicates). Now unless you want the filter to be on the entire song (which I don’t recommend), you want to deactivate the Fruity Parametric EQ 2 until the point you choose to use it. To do this, first, left-click the start point, hold down left-click, then drag it all the way down.
